H₂0₂ sterilizes aseptic packaging containers to prolong the shelf life of food products. Solvay has developed several grades specially dedicated to the sterilisation of containers in the packaging of milk, fruit juice and other foodstuffs.  All the grades are sold under the INTEROX® AG Tradename.
